AMISTAD CANADA (AC) works to improve the lives of Mexicans-in-need through health and education projects delivered in partnership with Mexican NGOs in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato; Huatulco, Guerrero and Ajijic & La Manzanill, Jalisco.
Our projects include: mobile medical-dental services; healthy school meals; underwriting sick and disabled children’s medical costs; supplemental classes in literacy, computer skills, English and the arts; primary to post-secondary scholarships; seniors’ nutrition; a school for the Deaf; and a therapy centre for children with disabilities.
