My Story…
On September 27th, I celebrated 16 years of sobriety, thanks largely to JACS Toronto.
JACS Toronto played a major role in helping me get sober as they were there for me when I was not able to be there for myself. When my family did not know where else to go, when stigma reared its ugly head, and they did not know who was safe to talk to about the fact that they had a son addicted to drugs, alcohol and gambling, they called JACS and for that, I am grateful. Without my family and without JACS, I'd probably be dead.
Fast forward 15 years and I’ve been working at JACS for 10 years and just over 5 years ago I took over as President and CEO of JACS Toronto, giving back to the community that gave me a second chance at life.
I ask that you please consider supporting JACS so that no one who needs help ever needs to be turned away for financial reasons.
Please help me reach my goal of $30,000
All my best,
Ori
