Help Matt raise money

For participating in 2022 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon

My Story…

This fall I'll be running in the Toronto Waterfront (Half) Marathon and I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's Society of Toronto. The run is on October 16, 2022. Please click below if you'd like to donate or join my "team" (It's me. I'm the team.)

The half marathon is about 21 kilometres and the route starts at Queen and University, goes up to Bloor, west to Bathurst, down to the lake, west for a while, then back east again and up Bay Street to Queen. I'm hoping to do it in under two hours, but last time I ran that distance it took me 2 hours and 17 minutes, so we'll see.

I'm fundraising for the Alzheimers Society because they do a lot to support families affected by Alzheimers, and help fill the gap left by inadequate government support. This year is a Provincial and local election year and the Alzheimer Society is asking asking all candidates, leaders, and parties to commit to a renewed Ontario Dementia Strategy based on their 56 policy and 21 funding recommendations laid out in their "Roadmap Towards a Renewed Ontario Dementia Strategy".
