My Story…
This year I am walking/running the 21K (Half Marathon) to support refugee initiatives at North York Community House (NYCH) where I work.
NYCH has been supporting communities who have been forced to flee their homes and countries because of violence, war, and persecution with specialized programs and services.
At NYCH we not only help children, youth, adults, and seniors settle into their new lives in Canada but also work together to find ways to heal from the trauma of war and displacement, building communities where all belong and thrive.
