My Story…
I will be Marking it ReAd this October by joining the Dyslexia Canada team for the 5K run.
Dyslexia is the most common cause of reading difficulties. Unfortunately dyslexia is often not recognized or properly supported in our schools. This lack of awareness and support is devastating for our children. Unidentified and supported dyslexia often results in difficulties in other aspects of school and learning as well as serious challenges with behavior and mental health.
The good news is that we can identify children at risk for dyslexia at age four and we know how to support them so that 95% of them can avoid the reading difficulties associated with dyslexia.
Please support me and the Dyslexia Canada team as we work to raise awareness for dyslexia and reduce the number of Canadian children who are struggling needlessly in school.
