Help Betty raise money

For participating in 2022 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Why I'm walking for social justice

For a number of years you have made a difference by supporting me to walk 5km in  "Running for Refugees"  in the Bank of Nova Scotia Charities Marathon. ( in 2017 in recognition of our "Giving Garden" four of us  dressed as characters in "Jack and the Bean Stalk" )  COVID-19 closed Canada's borders . But,  as a result of your  past generosity, we are financially ready to welcome a refugee family as soon as arrangements for arrival are complete.

On October 16th I plan to walk 5km in the Waterfront Marathon  joining our team in  "Walk the Walk for Social Justice" . 100% of  your donation  of support will  fund Social Justice Initiatives.....Welcome Immigrants, Advance First Nations' Reconciliation, Address Hate Crimes, Feed Neighbours, Advocate Against Poverty, Support Refugee Sponsors, Provide Respite Care for Parents, Combat Racism, etc

Once again I am requesting your support   Please donate and cheer us on towards our goal.  Join me, one step at at time, to make a difference!

Thank you
