My Story…
I help AIM raise fund this year because every child needs a helping hand and children with autism need our help NOW more than ever. When a child needs help, they should get it immediately and not having to wait years for services. It's like taking my kids to a hospital for care and being told that I have to wait 2-4 years for the help that they need NOW. This is painful for any parents and caregivers to bear when watching your child helplessly missing the critical window in getting the help they need now. As of Nov 2021, there are over 50,000 kids in Ontario waiting for government support and that's why AIM is dedicating the funds raised in this event to support our AIM Without Limits Subsidized Therapy Program so that more families can access to critical services for their children NOW at an affordable rate while waiting for government funding for autism services.
