My Story…
It’s impossible to describe fully the influence my grandmother had on me. She was always there over the years to supervise baking projects, go on travel adventures, and celebrate many special and everyday occasions. She also set an example of finding beauty and joy in staying active, and maintaining a large and loving network of family and friends, which in turn had an immensely positive impact on my childhood.
Every child should be safe, healthy, happy and have their own safety net of people to support them, but since many are not so fortunate, I’m back for another year in the Charity Challenge. Throughout September and October I’ll be joining my CAFC colleagues and supporters in raising funds and awareness for Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada.

I am running in support of Children's Aid Foundation of Canada to raise critical funds to strengthen families and support children and youth involved in child welfare.
Your donation supports the delivery of high-impact programs that directly serve children and youth across Canada who have experienced or live at risk of abuse and neglect. Through these transformative programs, families are strengthened so they can keep kids at home, young people in care are provided access to enrichment opportunities like camp, sports and the arts, and youth aging out of the child welfare system are empowered to overcome their trauma and create a life for themselves filled of unstoppable successes.
