Help Selina raise money

Hello lovely! 

I'm celebrating my birthday by running the Toronto Waterfront 5K - my first competitive race 🎉. I'll be another year older very soon - and if I can help someone else live life to the fullest to see their next birthday - that would be a true gift 🎁.

I'm hoping to raise $220 for Sheena's Place - a charity in Toronto that 

1) provides free group-based support to individuals struggling with an eating disorder

2) raises awareness of eating disorders through community outreach. 

It would mean so much to me if you would like to donate to Sheena's Place here. Any amount is truly appreciated, and no amount is too small. Can you spare $10, $15, $20, or more to donate to charity, as my birthday gift this October? Sheena's Place will issue tax receipts at a later date. Thank you for giving the gift of recovery to those affected by eating disorders 🤗.

In Ontario, many people are unable to access eating disorder treatment, due to few publicly funded services and costly private options. 

Sheena's Place is one of the only local organizations that offers free, timely, professional support to those affected by eating disorders. In 2021, Sheena's Place served 932 group participants, for a total of 1,293 hours of therapeutic service. I personally know people who have greatly benefited from Sheena's Place during their eating disorder recovery 🫶.

I'll be chasing a personal best on race day 🏃‍♀️, in honour of your generosity and the strong warriors in my life who are affected by/recovering/recovered from an eating disorder.
