My Story…
I started volunteering with Romero House as a marathon coordinator thinking I will help resolve website and technical issues. And here I am inspired to join the community for my first ever marathon ! Starting with a modest marathon goal with the 5 Km run and hope to do more in the coming years.
Romero House offers a huge range of supports to refugee claimants including assistance finding emergency shelter, Legal Aid applications, lawyer referrals, housing and overall integration in their new world- such valuable supports that those who come to Canada hoping for a better life need
