My Story
Dear Family and Friends,
I have taken on a new challenge and I need your help! On October 16, 2022 I will run the 5K with the Team Believe in the 2022 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. I am running to support children around the world to overcome barriers and access education with Children Believe.
I’m not stopping there… I endeavor to raise over $250 for the programs at Children Believe. The organization’s mission to create a future of hope for children, families, and communities by helping them develop the skills and resources to overcome poverty and injustice —has motivated me to do everything I can to help. I stand behind the cause with more than the 5K I will run. I hope that you will consider donating and joining me in strengthening the mission of Children Believe as they continue to serve thousands annually.

You’ll be helping children access knowledge, training and opportunities to raise their voices and make positive change. I have always had a love for running since a child. I have carried that joy with me to adulthood. It has always been a bucket list goal of mine to work my way to running a marathon. Despite a knee injury that has slowed me down in the past few years, I feel like the 5K run is a great place to start. I look forward to running and earning donations towards such an amazing organization!
