Our story…
Vintage Fitness is supporting a family of three emigrating from Afghanistan. The family has been living in Turkey for four years and has been experiencing lots of hate and racism. When I told the dad, Haroon, that Canada was excited to welcome his family he wrote "Awwww, We got soooo emotional now after reading your message" . The family has been through hell including threats from the Taliban. The mom, Salima, has a university education and has had to resort to cleaning to make ends meet. They have a daughter, Hania, who is 5 years old and speaks Dari.
