My Story…
Hi :) My name is Kelly, and I am a Year 12 student at Cannon Hill Anglican College. I am very excited to participate in the 40 Hour Famine this year. I am glad to share my fundraising page with you...
In 2019, I took part in World Vision's Backpack Challenge - which I thoroughly enjoyed and was very pleased to raise over $600. In 2020 during Brisbane's first COVID-19 lockdown, the amazing team gave me the opportunity to run their 'isolation challenges' initiative, such as the #72WordsChallenge. These videos were posted to their Instagram and social media accounts for public viewing. It was thrilling to see several people across Australia participate in this initiative!
So this year in 2021, I am wanting to join in the fun again! This is my first time taking part in the famine - I have chosen to give up eating for the duration - and I can't wait to update you throughout my experience.
World Vision is dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any donations made to my page - many hands make light work! Your support, even if this is through thought & prayer, means the world to me :) Thank you, and have a lovely day!
Donate to help Kelly raise money for World Vision Australia - 40hr Famine’s fundraising campaign.
