My Story…
For this years 40-hour famine, I will be giving up furniture! No couches, bed, chairs, tables, benches- nothing. I will also be giving up shelter, and sleeping outside. This is in solidarity with refugees around the world, who often live in poverty with nothing but the clothes off their back and their will to survive. .
In 2019, the UN estimated 29 million refugees world-wide. That being more than the population of Australia is difficult to fathom, and even harder to change- but as individuals we have the power to create a difference in this world.
Your donation is not only greatly appreciated by me, but by the hundreds of children worldwide that you will be impacting, buying vital school supplies, clothes, shoes, access to food and water.
