Help Year 9 raise money

So many people in the developing world today are suffering from extreme food shortages and World Vision estimates that more than 19 million people are victims of famine – more than half of these people are children!
With the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic and the wars still raging, many NGOs anticipate the number of people vulnerable to famine to rise by over 50 per cent rise in the coming years. 

Year 9 Phillips is trying to create awareness and support for this terrible situation by participating in the 40 Hour Famine. We encourage all Year 9 girls to join in by giving up something that we so often take for granted like phones, tv or even our comfy beds for just 40 hours on 10-12 September.
