Hunger and malnutrition are the world's number one health risks. Right now there are 41 million people at risk of falling into famine, yet there is a reason for hope. Since 1975, the 40 Hour Famine has raised over $200 million to support projects across 26 countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Chile, China, East Timor, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Laos, Malawi, Niger, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Thailand, and Zimbabwe - and many more. By donating $20 you could help provide 2 people with lifesaving food assistance; by donating $25 you could help deliver clean water to families; by donating $50 you could help provide nutritional supplements to treat malnourished children.

During the 40 Hour Famine, I will be eating only rice and drinking water to maintain energy, starting from 10th of September 2021 at 6 pm to 12th September 2021 at 10 am. During the 40 Hour Famine, I wish to feel the normal life of people living in hunger and also to raise money to bring hope to millions of people living in poverty.
