I Run to Cure CF!
This will be my 8th full marathon, running to find a cure for my niece Natalie and everyone living with CF.
Since Natalie was born, she has held such a special place in my heart. I have loved seeing her grow up into such a goofy, creative, kind, and strong girl. I am one lucky Aunt to have her as my niece!
As much as Natalie looks like a normal girl on the outside, CF affects her every single day (physically and emotionally). I am sick of her having to be tied to CF, and I am ready for her to have a cure!

Description
Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S. causing persistent lung infections and limiting the ability to breath over time. Those living with this disease are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers --all struggling each day just to breathe and live normal, healthy lives.
While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. By participating in the Pittsburgh Marathon on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I run to help add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis today.
