My Story…
I am running in memory of my Grandma Gwen who battled breast cancer and other cancers until the very end. She was a huge supporter in everything that I did. This is my way to give back to her and honor her memory.
I will be dedicating the last 5K to all of my Grandparents and their loving memories. Mile 23: In memory of my Pappy and Grammy Hale; Mile 24: In memory of Grandma Smith and in honor of Pap Pap Smith; Mile 25-end: In memory of Grandma Gwen and Grandpa Ralph
I will be dedicating my first 5K portion to Miles 1-3 to my biggest fan, my son Noah and husband, Rick. Noah inspires me to keep pushing myself to be the best role model for him. My family supports this crazy journey of training and running my FIRST marathon!
