Help Jennifer raise money

For participating in 2022 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend

My Story…

After a two year break, I'm heading back to Pittsburgh to run a half marathon before taking on my first marathon in Buffalo, NY over Memorial Day weekend. I will be running both races this May to honor my son, Landon.  Running 13.1 (or 26.2) miles is a small feat compared to the daily challenges overcome by Landon and other individuals affected by autism.

While I have been fortunate to know and love many people with ASD, I also know that autism is not easy. We’ve been blessed with wonderful family, friends, teachers, and therapists that have helped Landon in so many ways. Not everyone impacted by autism is so fortunate. This is why I chose to raise funds for an organization that supports families like mine.

The Organization for Autism Research is the only autism charity that focuses solely on applied research. Funds raised directly support research and programs that help parents, families, and educators in the autism community on a daily basis.

Thank you for your support!

WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:
