My Story…
Running became a very important part of my life when I was a freshman in college. To some degree I like to say that running "saved my life." Something that I find so special about running is how it brings people together. Running gives people an opportunity to really test their own mental and physical abilities. Something even more powerful that running does is give thousands of people an opportunity to do something they love while also raising money, fighting for something that is personal to them, and an overall good cause. This half marathon I am fundraising money for the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association in honor of my grandma. I have witnessed firsthand the effects Alzheimer’s and Dementia can have on an individual, their family, and loved ones, and I am honored to raise money for this organization.
Donate to help Meg raise money for 2022 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
