My Story…
Hello! My name is David Levy and I am just a guy trying to help others have a better picture of who God is and what this world (that we all live in) is really like! I love to run and want to use my God-given legs to bring attention to first, God, who has graciously given me the ability to run. Second, I want to bring attention to the global needs that we oftentimes are not aware of (or choose to not be aware of).
I am new to this fundraising thing but am a firm believer in running for a greater cause than myself. I desire to support people around the world in however I can with the true love of God. God's love has no boundaries. I want more people to know of this love in a tangible way of providing for their physical needs. Because of recent catastrophic events such as hurricane Matthew in 2016 and the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in 2021, there are still churches, homes, and schools in disarray. Haiti H2O provides the support that these Haitians need to be self-sufficient.

Haiti H2O is a development organization based in Pittsburgh partnering to transform hope into opportunity in rural Haiti. Our approach is to take time to listen to local leaders and invest in their ideas, empowering them to make positive change. We currently work with four rural communities in areas such as education, health and sanitation, business initiatives, home construction, and livestock cooperative.
