My Story…
I am running the half marathon this year for Urban Impact. Urban Impact has been serving the youth of Pittsburgh's North Side for over 25 years. By working to meet the needs of the whole person through holistic community outreach, they can bring transformative hope to Pittsburgh one person, one family, one block at a time. I have been running in races since I graduated college. It helps push me through the hard days of training knowing that I supporting opportunities to kids such as athletics, education, and performing arts. To a child, the understanding that someone has a vested interest in his or her well-being is priceless.
