My Story…
The Concussion Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the study, treatment, and prevention of CTE, a degenerative brain disease that affects millions of athletes, Veterans, and many others. As both a board member of CLF and as a former Princeton football player, I've seen how concussions and CTE can affect a person's mental health. That is why I'm running the 2022 Race to End CTE, sponsored by the Cleveland Marathon, in honor of two Princeton football players we have lost to CTE, Mark von Kreuter '85 and Lenox Palin '50.
Your contribution will directly support the Concussion Legacy Foundation, which is leading the efforts to prevent, diagnose, and treat CTE, while also aiding patients and families fighting the disease.
This is a cause that I care deeply about, having several close friends, former teammates, and family members who have experienced severe post-concussion symptoms that have had a damaging effect on their quality of life.

Description
CTE is a degenerative brain disease that has devastated the lives of contact sport athletes and military Veterans. The Concussion Legacy Foundation is leading the fight to End CTE through prevention, research, and education.
Runners are raising funds for programs like:
- The CLF Global Brain Bank, a network of experts at Boston University and in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Brazil working to learn how to diagnose and treat CTE.
- Tackle Can Wait, which aims to prevent CTE in children.
- The CLF HelpLine, which provides 1-on-1 support for patients and caregivers battling suspected CTE.
