My Story…
Max Tuerk was a force to be reckoned with - he never backed down from a challenge, and lived his life to the fullest. He was well-loved by family, friends and teammates, and is missed every day. Max showed tremendous strength of character and determination in all that he did, including his fight against CTE. CTE is a neurodegenerative disease that causes a host of devastating mental and physical symptoms which rob us of our loved ones, even prior to death. We are forming this team in the Race to End CTE to honor Max and support Concussion Legacy Foundation’s efforts to promote research to prevent, diagnose and treat CTE. Let’s rock this team in Max style – let’s get as many runners and donations as possible to END CTE.
