Our story…
The boys and I are participating in this year's Race to End CTE in memory of Sal.
I'm excited to include our boys, Salvatore and Rocco, in our efforts to raise awareness.
By having their dad have the foresight to pledge his brain to the Concussion Legacy Foundation a year before we lost him, the boys have grown up knowing how important this issue is.

Runners are raising funds for programs like:
The CLF Global Brain Bank, a network of experts at Boston University and in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Brazil working to learn how to diagnose and treat CTE.
Tackle Can Wait, which aims to prevent CTE in children.
The CLF HelpLine, which provides 1-on-1 support for patients and caregivers battling suspected CTE.
