The Helix School (THS)

The Helix School (THS) was founded by a mom for her son. Not finding the level of care and depth of a therapeutic education that she was looking for, she created her own school designed for children who needed their education integrated with therapy. THS is a leader in providing comprehensive, individualized, research-based education for Bay Area children with autism between the ages of 7 and 22. Our model and mission are based on providing an education that nurtures and develops our students' capabilities through an evidence-based, integrated curriculum. Our approach is tailored to support a child's developmental level, sensory processing differences, and emotional-regulatory needs. Our staff consists of educators, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapists, and mental health professionals.
