At the Paralympic Foundation of Canada, we believe winning the race begins with ensuring that every single Canadian can imagine themselves at the start line. To get there, we must work together to remove barriers to participation in sport. Our mission is to ensure that the people, programs, and equipment are in place so that Canadians with a disability can be active in sport – in their communities and all the way to the Paralympic podium.

À la Fondation paralympique canadienne, nous sommes d’avis que gagner la course commence en s’assurant que chaque Canadien ait la possibilité de s’imaginer sur la ligne de départ. Pour y arriver, nous devons travailler ensemble pour éliminer les obstacles qui empêchent la pratique de sports. Notre mission consiste à assurer que les gens, les programmes et l’équipement sont en place pour permettre aux Canadiens ayant un handicap d’être actifs sur le plan sportif – dans leur communauté et jusqu’au podium paralympique.
