This May, during Ottawa Race Weekend, I will be running my first Marathon while supporting the Ottawa Heart Institute with every step!
I was born with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot, which was repaired waaay back in 1979 at the Montreal Children's Hospital. In February 2015, I had a second open heart surgery at the Ottawa Heart Institute to replace my pulmonary valve.
The expert care I received (and still receive) at the Ottawa Heart Institute has allowed me to be active and achieve many personal goals. Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate! :)
