Help Chelsea raise money

For participating in Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2022

My Story…

Hi everyone!

This coming May I will be participating in the Ottawa Race Weekend’s half marathon event- a different challenge to previous years, not just in terms of distance, but with fundraising goals to support an organization carrying a lot of meaning to me…

As some of you may know, my grandmother, Joan Dettrich, passed away in 2020 at the Saint-Vincent Bruyère Hospital in Ottawa, after a long and courageous battle to cancer. Although life without her has been hard, I’m grateful that I was able to be by her side throughout her final year, and that we were able to grow closer than I could’ve ever imagined. During that year, I spent most of my days at the Bruyère Hospital with her, where she was always well-cared for by the wonderful people who worked there; I couldn’t be more thankful for all their help and support throughout that time.

That’s exactly why this year, I am fundraising to support the Bruyère Foundation and to race in honour of my grandma Joan.

If you would like to support me and my fundraising goal, you can do so either through a donation or by joining my team! Anything helps and is greatly appreciated, thank you all so much!
