I have the privilege of serving Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services as its Executive Director. Every year, the Rideauwood team helps over 3,000 people. And still, our waitlists are growing.  Some people are waiting 12 to 16 months to access the help they need and deserve!  The past two years have been difficult and the mental health and addiction crisis is escalating; 74% of Ontarians are experiencing increased substance use, addiction and mental health challenges.  This year, I will be walking 10kms as a member of the Rideauwood team.  I hope you will consider supporting me so that together, we can increase the pace at which Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services can provide support and counselling to the youth, young adults, adults, and families in our community who are affected by substance use, addiction and mental health challenges.
