On May 29th I will be walking with the Perley Health team to support and raise funds towards the Perley Health Foundation. Also known as the Perley Rideau Health Community of Care, this organization provides care to aging seniors and Veterans. This community is close to my heart as both my parents spent the end of their lives at this facility. My father suffered from alzeimer's and my mother was diabetic which led to blindness. The staff was always compassionate, respectful and supportive. I hope the funds I raise can be used towards providing the same excellent health services for their current and future residents.
