As a volunteer Board member for Resolve Counselling Services Canada I am proud to participate in the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend-Charity Challenge in order to support Resolve's Caring Dads Program.  The Fathers we support are individuals who are at risk of being or have been abusive or neglectful towards their children or their children's Mother. Our view is that Fathers love their children, and yet some Fathers struggle with showing this love. Supporting Father's in effective ways not only reduces domestic violence but also improves quality of life for their children, for the children's Mother and for the Father's themselves. The Caring Dads Program helps Fathers understand how important they are!
