I joined CoSA ten years ago as a gift to my future son - I was pregnant with Jake at the time, and wanted to make his world a safer place.  CoSA stands for Circles of Support and Accountability.  We provide a Circle of Volunteers who serve as role models for men who have finished serving time for sexual offences and are now back in society.  These men are free but CHOOSE our help with reintegrating and leading lives as good citizens... lives they can be proud of.  CoSA works. Circles help these men make wise choices, and reduces re-offending by 80%.  This made in Canada solution works so well that it is being copied around the globe. Sadly, there is no government funding in Canada.  Our Ottawa Branch operates on a shoestring budget of just 100K - and every fundraising penny counts!  Jake and I both thank you for supporting my run.... and helping us keep CoSA running :)
