I started running just over a year ago and as days went by, it slowly dawned on me what an absolute privilege it is to be able to run. Running has given me so much over the past little while, and in the spirit of gratitude, humility, and giving back I have decided to dedicate my very First Marathon run to the fight against cancer.
On May 1st, I will be giving my all, to finish the 42.2 km distance. Along the way, I will be thinking of true resilient people – those who have lost the battle with cancer, those who are battling cancer, their families & allies, and everyday heroes: Care providers, researchers, doctors, scientists, philanthropists, and fundraisers …
