My Story…

As the volunteer chair of the BC Schizophrenia Society Foundation, I'm proud to participate in this year's BMO Run4Hope. Help us raise funds for programs and services to assist families who have been affected in one way or another by this serious mental disorder. Schizophrenia is an insidious illness shrouded in stigma, shame and misunderstanding.  We work to break the stigma.  The Society's programs provide tangible support and community programs for families struggling in silence.  

We also raise funds for research projects focused on schizophrenia and psychosis. The eternal hope is that someday a cure can be found.
