Hello!

Thanks for visiting our page! We have decided to run the upcoming BMO Marathon 2022 as charity runners. Our  goal is to raise funds for Canuck Place Children's Hospice.  

Canuck Place is British Columbia's 's pediatric palliative care provider for children with life- threatening illnesses and the families who love them.  As we know health can be affected by numerous factors and unfortunately, there are a lot  families that have to go through many challenges to cope with the difficulties of life- threatening conditions of one or more members in their families. 

At Canucks place, their team of physicians, nurses, counsellors, therapists, staff, and volunteers provide medical respite care, pain and symptom management,  art,  music, recreation therapy, end-of-life care,  grief, loss, and bereavement counselling to the families that need it the most. All at no cost. 

With 2 locations in British Columbia,  Canuck Place is an organization that promotes a place of comfort and compassion where children can receive expert clinical care while experiencing the simple joys of being a child with their families at their side savouring their time together. 

Recognized internationally as leaders in the field of pediatric palliative care, the need for their services has grown exponentially over the years, but thanks to the dedication of their staff,  volunteers, government partners and donors, Canuck Place is able to make a difference in the lives of more children and families in need throughout BC.  We hope that with this event we can make a difference and  help families that need it the most. 

It's a pleasure to contribute and support Canuck Place Children's Hospice  through such an event.
