Raise money for The Hearing Improvement Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund, Inc.
Our mission is to fund hearing devices for children from birth to 21 years. Most insurance and state aid programs do not cover the cost of hearing aids and assistive learning devices. For children especially, the ability to hear is important to achieving developmental and social learning milestones.
The HIKE Fund provides grants up to up to $5000 directly to the supplier for the purchase of hearing aids and other assistive equipment for children whose families cannot provide for this need. We provide approximately 70 awards each year.
As an all-volunteer organization, we channel every donation to children in need of hearing aids and other assistive hearing devices. It is an honor to help families with the financial costs since many insurance companies do not cover hearing aids.
