My story

Several people I love have had to face a cancer diagnosis. A cancer diagnosis impacts not only the person receiving that diagnosis, but their loved ones as well. Friends and family members may sometimes feel helpless watching loved ones endure surgeries, grueling treatments, and ongoing medical appointments. But what we can do is continue to show up for those impacted by cancer and support organizations (such as Gilda’s Club) that provide free social and emotional support for our loved ones and for all those who need this kind of support in their life.

Gilda's Club Twin Cities is a community where people currently impacted by cancer can gather, connect, and learn. Providing a one-of-a-kind, evidence-based program of social and emotional support to all those facing any type of cancer - men, women, children, and teens - as well as their families and friends and those living with loss.
