Our story…
Reach Out and Read Minnesota marathon team is raising money to bring the brain-building, family bonding power of books to young children across the state of Minnesota.
The Reach Out and Read program partners with pediatric care providers to give books and early developmental guidance to young children and their families during their routine well-child visits. Evidence tells us that when we support children in their earliest years, we are setting them up for a lifetime of learning, health, and success.
Our program is endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has been proven to boost children's language scores, increase reading in the home, and build trust between healthcare providers and the families they serve. Learn more about our program here.
