Join us for this inaugural 5K/10K Run and Fun Walk on Saturday morning, May 21, 2022. Starting at 7:00 AM.

Come enjoy a beautiful run while supporting a great cause!

We are excited to have an “in-person” family-friendly event this year! Come run through the beautiful streets and paved trails winding through West Port and Centennial Park in Port Charlotte Florida. This race is sure to become a new tradition that you will look forward to coming back to year after year.

Be a part of the affordable housing solution! Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is helping 36 families this year achieve the dream of affordable homeownership.

Your participation and support are needed to reach this goal!

Since 1987, Charlotte County Habitat has helped over 500 Charlotte County families achieve the dream of homeownership, and this year we plan to help an additional 36. Charlotte County Habitat homes are sold at an affordable price to qualified applicants who meet our program criteria. Our applicants must have a need for affordable housing, must have the ability to pay their mortgage, and must have a willingness to partner with Charlotte County Habitat. Our affiliate operates four resale stores, one in Punta Gorda, two in Port Charlotte, and one in Englewood. These stores generate revenue that helps purchase materials needed to build homes for families in Charlotte County.

Here are a couple of ways you can run for free!

You can help out our charity and run the race for free! There are two ways.

The first way is to set up a team during your registration process. Get 10 runners to register and join your team and after the race, we will refund your registration fee!

The second way to run for free is to become a Fund Raiser for the race. You will be able to set up your own donation page so friends and family can donate in your name. If you raise $250 we will also refund your registration!
