My Story
I have had the privilege of caring for patients in the BMT/CT ward since 1989. I have witnessed the strength and courage the babies, children and teenagers have as they fight their battle to be healthy again. I have also witnessed the smiles and joy they display when a camp member comes into their room. Doing crafts, playing a game or singing is a time when they are able to have some fun while they are in hospital. Campfire Circle also gives them something to look forward to - the experience and fun of going to camp. At the camps they can thrive, make friends, memories and experience fun like every other child.
I realize these are difficult times for everyone but would appreciate if you would consider a donation to help a child smile and have some fun.

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant. For kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Simple childhood joys like friendships, birthday parties, or sports teams being left behind in the need for medical appointments, hospital stays, and long absences from school.
Whether it’s in a hospital setting, in the community, online or at overnight camp, CAMPFIRE CIRCLE* fills the void, creating safe spaces for kids to be kids, so families can be families, at no cost to them.
