Hi, Friends & Family,
I'm happy to say I will be participating in this year's Sporting Life 10k, in support of Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium), a camp for children with cancer, where they can just be kids!
Please help support me in my walk on Mother's Day (no way am I running...lol).
CAMPFIRE CIRCLE is where curiosity and confidence, bravery and acceptance come to play, and healing through happiness is on the agenda every day, and in so many ways!
Whether it’s in a hospital setting, in the community, online or at overnight camp, CAMPFIRE CIRCLE creates safe spaces for kids to be kids, so families can be families, at no cost to them.
As one of the Camper parents said: “Being back at camp is awesome! It was so incredible to hear all the kids laughing and playing again. Thank you camp for giving us a fun, full of memories weekend after a very challenging time.”

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant. For kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Simple childhood joys like friendships, birthday parties, or sports teams being left behind in the need for medical appointments, hospital stays, and long absences from school.
