Our Story
Once again we will be raising money for Chloë‘s Crusaders. Camp was always the highlight of Chloë’s year. She would literally be counting the days until she could go back again. Camp allowed her to be just another kid, because every kid there was in one way or another just like her. Childhood cancer was the common denominator that brought them together but at Camp Campfire Circle (formally Camp Ooch and Camp Trillium) your illness did not define you. It was for this reason that Chloë loved camp. There she could be truly herself-funny, quick witted, and carefree for 10 days. Chloë was fortunate enough to be able to attend three summers in person and one summer virtually. She also took part in online events that were held throughout the year as her health permitted. Chloe passed away June 27, 2021, just three days after school finished. She was signed up for another summer of activities but that was not meant to be. Camp Ooch (now Camp Campfire Circle) was one of organizations chosen to receive donations in Chloë’s memory. Over $10,000 dollars was raised in her name. She would have been so happy With this news. So once again we are asking for your support. Join our team either in person or virtually. Raise money. Or make a donation to Chloë’s Crusaders. Let’s help send as many kids as possible to camp this year. Let’s make a difference in these kids’ lives.

Simple childhood joys like friendships, birthday parties, or sports teams being left behind in the need for medical appointments, hospital stays, and long absences from school.

It’s where curiosity and confidence, bravery and acceptance come to play, and healing through happiness is on the agenda, every day, and in every way! Kids and families are never alone, because there’s always room for one more in the circle.
