Our Story
This Mothers day, Sunday May 9th, Sarah and Madison Cooper will be participating in the Sporting Life 10km run to raise money for Campfire Circle. This organization is known as a social cure for cancer as it provides children with cancer an an amazing experience at their sleep-away camp. This camp is especially impactful as it provides campers with a sense of normalcy, joy, and strength - all elements most patients lack throughout their journey to remission.
Madison actually raised money for this organization about 4 years ago, as a mitzvah in honour of her bat-mitzvah. She continues to support this organization by running (or more likely walking!) in the Sporting Life 10K this weekend!
Sarah and Madison's goal is to raise $500 towards the Campfire Circle, which is enough to fund a child / family member affected by childhood cancer to spend a day at the camp this summer! We appreciate your support.
