Help Jennifer raise money

We are dedicating this 10km CAlgary Marathon in tribute to a beautiful person who left us too soon.

Amanda Ellis was the type of person that welcomed everyone with kindness and grace. Ellis and I were two Calgarians meeting on the east coast in a small town called Sackville. We'd spend the weekends in Halifax dancing the nights away. 

In 2011 Ellis called me and asked me to meet up with her for a run. She was training for the 2010 CALGARY 10km.
She asked me to run the 10km with her but I was in no shape to run but I did promised her I would one day.

When Ellis passed on February 4, 2019, I knew I wanted to run the Calgary 10km in her honour. The pandemic cancelled all most races and my plans to run this race we delay once again.

2022 is the year. #teamellis. 

Ellis completed the 2011 10km CALGARY marathon in 1hr: 01: 11. I can only aspire to match her time but that it the goal.
