The YMCA of Oakville is more than a place, we are a cause. From exercise to education, volleyball to volunteerism, or preschool to preventative health, the YMCA doesn’t just strengthen bodies—the YMCA strengthens community.
Our community is not immune to the financial pressures facing Canadian families. One child in 12 lives at or below the poverty line in Oakville. We expect that number to increase because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The YMCA has faced these challenges over our 175 years of serving communities. Together, we will face this one too.
As a registered charity, the YMCA of Oakville is fortunate to have a community that embraces the opportunity to donate; thereby making it possible for everyone to be enriched by YMCA membership and programming.
