My Story…
Pasadena City College is fielding a team of students, faculty and staff to run in the Homeboy 5k. We are so proud of the 100+ people that have signed up to participate. The people spearheading this team are active in PCC CORE (Community Overcoming Recidivism through Education). CORE provides support services to formerly incarcerated and system impacted students at PCC. CORE focuses on students’ successful reentry into their communities through the development of job skills, attaining Associates degree and/or certificate, and/or the ability to transfer to a four-year college or university. The work that Homeboy does and the focus of PCC CORE connect beautifully. It makes so much sense for PCC CORE to support Homeboy and I hope you will help and support Homeboy, too. Any donation you can give to this Homeboy 5k is very appreciated and goes to support the life-changing work of a great organization.
