Our story…
Burst Of Butterflies Art Studio was founded from the inspiration that came from our family being impacted by a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident that left our daughter, sister and aunt permanently disabled with severe cognitive abilities. Theresa was only 31 years old at the time in June of 2012. Through love and support, our family came together and built an art studio that allowed us all to be together, to give Theresa an outlet for art therapy and creative expression, and give our community the same. Much love has come from this endeavor. On January 29, 2022, after a year of declining brain health, our greatest inspiration, lost her battle and passed away peacefully at home with family. This event is very meaningful to us and we are coming together as a team to honor her and help fundraise for this great cause that helps so many with brain injuries such as our dearly departed Theresa.
