Help Jill raise money

This Memorial Day weekend I am honored and blessed to be running with a group of 11 moms in Run Across Georgia, which is a 277 mile relay race starting at Tybee Island and ends right here in Columbus at Broadway! This is not only an amazing run, but more importantly it raises money for two local organizations here in Columbus which are Mercy Med and House of Heroes!

I have been running for the last 20 years and I always tell people running is not what I do, but it’s part of who I am. When I’m running, I’m always reminded of the strength and determination god has given me. Some days I think I must be crazy to keep doing this to my body, but when I hit the pavement or the trail, something takes over me and in the best moments in the best runs I feel like I can fly!!

Running Across Georgia has been something I have always wanted to do since the first time I heard about a group of women from My soccer league running in it. I always thought how cool it would be to say I ran across a state and even better with a bad ass group of not only women but moms.

This year I am honored and blessed to have this opportunity and I certainly want to do my part I helping out team reach our fundraising goal! Any amount you can contribute would be amazing and no amount is to small!
