Thank you so much for visiting my Run Across Georgia Fundraising Page!

Memorial Day Weekend our wonderful team, along with others, will begin on Tybee Island (right were we live!) and run across the state of Georgia ending in Columbus (hello, Hills!) in 40 hours or less.  

"Run".  For me, it's a SLOG - Slow Jog.  But I will be moving on my own 2 feet across Georgia with some really wonderful people. 

Those of you that know me know that running has been a big part of my life for about the past 15 years.  From mud runs to Full Marathons I have put in many miles in many places through all the ups & downs of life.

This is a first though!  Running across a state is a huge accomplishment for me and I am so thankful to be a part of such an amazing team!

Each member of our team has a goal of $150 to meet and I would so appreciate anything you would so generously offer.  (I actually HATE fundraising & am pretty close to letting Scott donate my full amount.)

Y'all also know that I love to support veterans & First Responders.  This run benefits House of Heroes (veterans & public safety veterans) and MercyMed of Columbus.

Every run I've done in the past 3 years has been pushing Saylor & training for this will be no different!  (Don't worry - I'm not pushing her across Georgia!)  She is such a trooper no matter if it's 20 minutes or 3 hours.  I'm thankful for our time together & love how she encourages me.  (I will be doing 1 training run/week of hills on the treadmill so she won't join me for that - she would push the buttons & send me flying off the back.)  

I also would like to request prayers - this will be a long hot run on the roads with holiday traffic.
